Change to the Planned Admission Number (PAN) for St George's School from September 2019

Over the period 16th October to 27th November 2017, the Governors of St George's School undertook a public consultation on their proposal to reduce the planned admission number into the Reception class from 20 to 15 with effect from September 2019.  Following that consultation period, and considering the responses received from parents and the wider community, the Governors agreed at their Full Governing Board meeting on 9th January 2018 to adopt the new PAN of 15, and to revise and update the School's Admission Policy accordingly.  That new Admissions Policy for 2019-20 can be accessed through the link above.

Any individual was permitted to appeal against the Governors' decision in writing to the Office of the Schools' Adjudicator by the 15th May 2018 at the following address:

The Secretary, The Office of School’s Adjudicator, GD FL A, Mowden Hall, Staindrop Road, Darlington, DL3 9BG.

No appeals were received and the planned admission number for St. George's is therefore now set at 15 from September 2019 onwards.
