Dorset Support for Families - Short Survey
Dear Parents and Carers,
The school has received an email request from colleagues at Dorset County Council Children's Services who are seeking your participation in a short survey. This email is reproduced below and it would be really helpful if could spend 5-10 minutes to complete it - links to the survey site are included below.
We’d like you to help us shape how we support families with children aged 0-5 in the future.
We have a duty to ensure that there are sufficient early childhood services available across the county, although we are not responsible for providing them all ourselves. This includes information, advice and support around health, money and parenting, as well as childcare and children’s centres.
There have been a number of changes over the last few years including the introduction of 30 hours free childcare, free childcare for some two-year-olds. Alongside this services have faced a reduction in funding from the Government. We’re also working more closely with other services - such as health visitors and midwives - to provide support in the places where people go, and know that more families are going online for information and advice.
It’s important that we regularly look at this to make sure we’re meeting the needs of local families - particularly those most in need of help.
As professionals working with families we’d be grateful if you could complete this short questionnaire, which should only take 5 minutes to complete.
We’d also really value you letting parents know about the survey and encourage them to take part. Maybe you could post the link on your website, Facebook page or in a regular parent email. Parents or carers who participate have the opportunity to enter our prize draw to win a £50 high street voucher.
